The New Board Program is designed for an elite group of executives who are proven leaders. Successful applicants will hold leadership positions at managing boards or one level removed from CEO or C-level executive management and will be identified by their sponsors as a key part of the companys succession plan.

The ideal candidate:

• • Is member of executive committee, division/business unit managing director, or corporate staff unit director;

• • Is committed to take part and invest in a two year program;

• • Holds preferably at least one non-executive position;

• • Is willing to learn through peer group and mentoring support.

Also register for the program if you hold non-executive board directorships by profession.

The program is for leaders among leaders.

Diversities in background, industry, area of expertise and gender are important criteria in deciding who will be included. This broad representation offers participants a unique opportunity to share and expand their executive perspective, while enhancing their understanding of corporate governance views.

Company sponsorship is preferred. Selection of the most qualified candidates by the sponsoring organization is preferred. A diverse group of senior level decision makers with proven leadership ability and promise and representing a wide range of professional backgrounds and experiences enhances the educational potential for participants and increases the takeaway value for supporting organizations.

Program Management assembles qualified participants with a focus on diverse, successful professional achievement and possible future responsibilities. We expect full commitment and willingness from participants and participating companies to invest in time, study and effort required to fulfill the role of non-executive board member during this two-year program.

By signing and returning this Registration Form to Nyenrode Business Universiteit (NBU) the participant and the participating organization commit themselves to the two (2) years of the New Board Program (NBP), as more fully described in the NBP brochure. The NBP Registration Form is only valid when approved and countersigned by an authorized person of the participant’s employer.
